Cero Generation (Cero) is delighted to announce the appointment of Marta Martinez Queimadelos as its new Chief Executive Officer, with immediate effect.
Commenting on Marta’s appointment, Cero Chairman and Head of UK and Europe, Green Investment Group, Edward Northam said:
“Marta joined the Cero Generation Board in November 2021, and it’s a pleasure to confirm that she has now agreed to move into the Chief Executive role. Marta’s expertise and track record will be invaluable as we continue to grow Cero in pursuit of its mission to create a net-zero future, for this and every generation.”
Marta brings a wealth of experience as a sustainability professional. She has been at the forefront of the solar market since 2007 as co-founder and former CEO of T-Solar, a Spanish renewables company focused on the development, financing, management, and operation of solar PV facilities. Prior to this, Marta co-founded Comunitel in 1998, a telecommunications company that is now part of Vodafone. Marta started her career at PwC and held various management positions in the financial area of the automotive group Peugeot-Citroën.
Marta will retain her seat on the Board of Cero Generation Limited.
