A partner to power success.

Working with landowners

In rural settings, our solar projects are perfectly placed for dual use, such as grazing livestock or increasing biodiversity.

From ecological assessments to community engagement, we do our best to create solar farms that local communities can be proud of.

We work alongside you to construct solar farms with a view to improving soil health, reducing water requirements, encouraging bees, offering shade, fostering biodiversity, and strengthening rural economies.

Community work

Working with the community

We are proud of our reputation as a professional, considerate neighbour, and develop and operate plants for the long term.

Cero works with various stakeholders when building our solar farms to make sure our projects benefit the local community – not just by generating clean electricity but by improving the local ecosystem as well.

How it works

We work with landowners to understand what they want to achieve over the long term, and design solar projects that benefit both the landowner and the local community.

We have a passionate, diverse team of in-house experts that identify potential sites, carry out early-stage feasibility analyses including market research and policy analysis, and design large scale solar projects.

The steps involved include:

Arranging land lease
Community consultations
Planning applications

If the planning application is successful, the next step is procurement, engineering and ultimately, the construction of the solar project.
